Flash Auction!

Okay ladies, it is time we spice up this auctioning! Lets put a new spin on auctioning to make it extra fun!

Spin # 1- As you all know, I like to add an incentive to my auctions. On top of the fact that you will be purchasing these items at a ROCK BOTTOM price, I add a prize that one lucky winner will get. Typically, I would say that you have to be a FINAL bidder to qualify, and only 1 entry per person. So, here is the spin. ALL bidders will be entered to win the sample bundle (20 + Avon Samples). Do you want to make it even more fun?? 1 bid = 1 entry! So, EVERY time you bid you will be entered into the drawing.

Natural's Vanilla Shower Gel

Shipping: $2.50
BUY NOW: $6
Starting Bid: $2.50
Bid Increments:.25

Mary: $2.50

Tracy: $2.75

Sandy: $3

Mary: $3.25

Sandy: $3.50

Mary: $3.75

Mary = 3 entries

Tracy = 1 entry

Sandy = 2 entries       The more items and bids, the more entries.

Spin # 2- I will only have 3 items open at a time. That does NOT mean that you have to bid on all 3. You only bid on what you want to bid on and don't bid on what you don't want to bid on.

Spin # 3- This is a FLASH auction! This means that the items will be up for auction and gone in a FLASH! So, bid while you can. I will not let you know the timing on the bidding. I may keep the items up for 1 hour or I may keep them up for 24 hours. 

Spin # 3- I may add more spins as the auction is active. I will, of course, let you all know via Facebook but be ware of additional spins heading your way!

If this is a success, we can continue making the auctions exciting like this. I depend on you all to give me your feedback so that I can make future auctions fun and fair for you all!

I personally have never been a fan of liquid eyeliners. But, this one is so much easier to use that it is actually the eyeliner that I use! I love it! It's not hard to apply and it lasts all day and night! Recently, I was getting ready for bed and my husband says "Did you just put on makeup?" I said "No!" That was so silly that I had to see what he was talking about and my eyeshadow and eyeliner were on there perfectly, as if I'd just applied it. Avon with Britny Auction

Auction How-to

Welcome to this Auction How-to. This is where I will tell you everything about the Auctions that I hold.

My Avon auctions are always held on my Facebook page Avon with Britny.

I will have an auction album in my photo section. This is where I will have the first Picture with the rules. The second picture has the terms and conditions. You will need to read through them and then comment under the picture with the word "Agree". If you do not write the word Agree, your bids will no longer be valid. I will usually warn you and let you know that you need to agree. But, if you do not do it within a couple of hours I will delete your comment and the highest bid will fall to the next highest bidder.

I will post pictures of each item or set that will be sold separately. Under that picture I will post the Shipping, Starting bid, bid increments and sometimes Buy Now.

Shipping: This is the price it will likely cost me to ship your item. This will be included in your total cost if you are a final bidder. If you are local and I will be delivering your item, shipping will be waived. If you are a final bidder on multiple items I will likely lower your shipping costs depending on how much it will cost me to ship the items.

Starting Bid: This is the minimum bid amount. If you would like this item, the first bid must be at LEAST this much. Your bid will be invalid if you bid any lower than the starting bid.

Bid Increments: This is how much your bids must increase every time. You can increase your bid at a higher number if you would like but it must be at LEAST the amount as specified.

Buy Now: I do not always do this. Sometimes I will only put it on specific items. The Buy now is the Regular "retail" price. If this item is not for sale to Customers yet, on the rare occasion the Buy now price will be slightly higher than the regular price will be.  What you do is type the words BUY NOW in the comment if you wish to surpass the auctioning and would like to buy at regular price. The first person to write the words BUY NOW will get the item and will be paying the Buy Now price.

In this album there will be pictures of items. If you wish to purchase an item you comment under the picture with your bid. If you are the first bidder, be sure to start your bid at the starting bid price or higher if you wish. You will do this by commenting with that price. Next, someone may bid under you with their bid. That bid will have to be in the increments specified or higher. OR someone can comment with the words BUY NOW to automatically be the winning "bid"

Example:

Smoky Eyes Quad

Shipping: $1.00

Buy Now: $9

Starting Bid:$4

Bid Increments: .25

Jane Doe: $4

John Doe: $4.25

Carrie Underwood: $4.50

Once the auction is closed, Carrie Underwood would be the final bidder and would be purchasing the eye quad for $4.50. If she lived outside of Albany or the surrounding areas she would then be paying $5.50 in total through paypal. (Gone over in rules in first photo)

Please be sure to read all of the rules in picture 1 and agree to the terms and conditions in picture 2.

The point of these auctions is not only to have FUN but to give you these wonderful and already inexpensive Avon products at ROCK BOTTOM prices. It is very rare or non-existent for you to find these products at such low prices.

Hi Everyone!

I have been MIA lately and I am sorry for that! Things have been so hectic around here! Do not fret! I will be getting a new Avon shipment in tomorrow with some great stuff to auction off. I will probably even have another FLASH giveaway. So, keep your eyes peeled because when I say FLASH I mean FLASH! :)

I am also going to go into details on how my auctions work. I will store it in a tab as well so it can be accessed every time there is an auction.

Upcoming Events!

I am so excited about all of the things I am now hosting! Along with simply selling Avon, I am hosting giveaways and auctions. I also started up a blog about living with allergies! Allergies Everyday 

Last week I had an auction on my facebook page. It was my first so I had to figure out what exactly people were wanting and I had to work out any kinks. I have also hosted a few giveaways on my facebook page and even this blog!

This week I am hosting a Spring/Easter giveaway with two prizes up for grabs. Spring/Easter Giveaway! This will close on Saturday night.

Next week is going to be exciting! I have just ordered more product to be featured in a new auction! I have gotten an idea and a good bit of suggestions on what to put in the next auction. So, watch the page and this blog for details to come! I'm thinking the auctions will last 48 hours so that everyone has the option to bid. I will be sure that it ends in the evening so that people get a fair chance to win the bidding.

I am also teamed up with a bunch of other bloggers to put on a giveaway! This one may not appeal to all of you if you don't want to like a bunch of different blogs. But, typically, you can like as few or as many as you want earning you more or less entries into the giveaway! This will be a CASH giveaway! That is right, CASH! Would any of you like to own one or more of these? This is what will be in the Auction going live tonight on my facebook page!!

How the Auction will work

This will be my first facebook auction. I have seen many other people do it and am hoping to get a good turn out! Shares, likes and comments go a long way because people will see that and will come and check out what is happening there. So, please share as much as possible!

What I will do is make a new album called Auction! I will post a picture with the rules and terms. You will need to comment under that picture that you Agree. If you do not state that you agree, you will forfeit your item and your bid will be invalid. 

Next, I will post a picture of each individual item or set that will be up for auction. Under that picture I will write the selling price OR 'Buy Now' price, the shipping fee, starting bid and bid increments.You will then look through the items and bid on as many as you want starting with the bid I have shown.  Someone can then outbid you by the increment shown. Example: Starting bid = 1.00       bid increments are .50

Person 1- 1.00

Person 2- 1.50

person 3- 2.00

Person 1- 2.50

You can continue to up the bid for the duration of the auction with the final bidder collecting their prize.

You must have a valid Paypal account and payments received before I will send out your product. You have 48 hours After the auction closes to send payment through Paypal.

If you do not have a Paypal account, they are free to make and a secure way to give and receive money over the internet.

This auction may be the one and only auction. I do not know how many fans will participate in the auction. So, this is my "trial auction" I will still have fabulous items and a range of prices. If this is successful I may make the auction much bigger in the future.

My Avon order!

My Avon order JUST arrived!! It is 2 days later than I am used to but I am glad it is here! I have not opened it yet, I just wanted to let you all know! So, now I will check it and figure everything out!! YAY Giveaway and Auction to come!!

My Avon Order!

I usually get my Avon orders every other Sunday morning. Today I was out of town and returned this evening. When I got home my order was NOT at my front door. It is known to have orders stolen from people's front doors. I am hoping that my delivery guy is just running behind or moved my day. Avon says to let 24 hours after normal delivery time before calling. So, I am assuming that I will wake up to my Avon tomorrow morning and not have to report it stolen! I will let you know. If I still get my Avon, I will get the auction and Giveaway set up! Would you rather see the Giveaway or auction first? Ingredient lists

I now have a tool on my Avon page that tells me of the ingredients in Avon's products. I have some customers with allergies to specific things that are in makeups, moisturizers and other beauty items. I have not been able to help much in the past without ordering it and reading it but now I can help you without having to order. So, let me know if you would like to know the ingredients in anything Avon and I will be happy to help!

Some of Avon's products,moisturizers, have nuts in them to enhance the product. My son has nut allergies so I am careful when purchasing things for myself and now I can help any of you with nut or other allergies to find out if you are allergic BEFORE purchasing!

Auctioning!

I have been preparing to start an auction on the Avon with Britny Facebook page. The way I would do this is to post pictures of specific items. Then I would start the bidding at a low number. What people would then do is comment under the picture a new bid raising in increments of .25 or .50 depending on the item. The person with the highest bid by the end date will be able to purchase the item at that price. Here is an example:

Bid Starting at $1.00

Increments of .25

You would then comment on it with 1.25. Then someone else would comment 1.50 and so on until a final price is reached.
